The Mitutoyo 514-103 vernier height gauge has a measurement range of 0” - 12"/0 - 300 mm, and is graduated in both inches and metric to 0.001”/0.02 mm, with + or - 0.002”/0.04 mm of accuracy.
The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 32 mm x 80 mm (H x W), carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for secure fastening. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. An adjustable beam with a ring-type lock nut supports repositioning of the zero reference point for manual change of the base position. The slider and beam are made of hardened stainless steel, with a glare-free satin chrome finish that helps resist rust. The height gauge weighs 6.83 lbs/3.1 kg.
